Sleep just a few feet away from sharks, sea turtles and jellyfish! This long-standing camper favorite program provides the opportunity to spend an overnight at Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo.  Experience guided tours from the zoo staff as well as fun learning activities. Campers will enjoy all the great activities that camp has to offer throughout the week; swimming, crafts, games, jumping pillows, growing in their faith, and more!  $550

All the fun camp has to offer, just add water! Enjoy extra time at the pool, a water carnival, boat races, and more! Plus spend a day at a Water Park. Bringing at least two bathing suits and beach towels is recommended.  $525

Hang out time just the girls! Spend the week making lasting friendships, deepening your faith, and lifting each other up.  Enjoy extra time in the craft cabin, a spa night, a “dive in” movie, and lots of girl time with your besties!  Cost: $500

 

Dates: June30th - July 2nd

This camp is designed for campers who have attended Guardian Angel and/or Sonshine and are now ready to experience camp on their own, just not for a whole week yet.  Swimming, crafts, jumping pillows, pedal carts, campfires, and more! This program is open to any 2nd and 3rd grader, they do NOT have to have attended one of our adult/child programs. Cost: $250

Dates: June 15th - 19th

This is one messy, over the top, surprise filled week! There’s slime, ice cream for breakfast, inflatable water slides, muddy gaga ball, and so much more! Cost: $525

Dates: July 21st - 24th

Based on a popular book series (minus any zombies of course!) you’ll spend the week learning how to make your own tree house, learning basic survival skills, and cooking over the fire.  Note: This camp will stay in the caves to add to the experience and theme.  Cost: $400

All the best of the summer packed into one final week!  Whether its your first stay or you’ve come back for more fun, this week will not disappoint.  Slime time, glow dance party, ice cream for breakfast, inflatables carnival, Wildlife Encounters, and more favorites from earlier in the summer. Plus (growing season dependent) be the first through this season’s corn maze.  Cost: $525

Dates: June 15th - 19th

Come join Team Fontanelle!  Walk-ons welcome! Play a variety of sports throughout the week, some traditional, some with unexpected twists.  Most importantly learn how to be a member of God’s team.  Cost: $500

Let’s get creative! This week will include extra craft times, some over the top art projects, and all the traditional fun of camp like swimming, campfires, games, and more! Cost: $475

This camp is designed to give confirmands and their pastors or confirmation leaders a time to complete the basics of confirmation while in the great outdoors of God’s Creation. Churches who send campers are also required to send an adult to sponsor/teach their own confirmands.  You’ll also get to enjoy all the fun activities camp has to offer as you journey through confirmation.  $275

Dates: June 2nd - 6th

This is our Junior Counselor program for older teens who would like to be on summer staff in the future. Participants will take part in training sessions with staff and also enjoy some of the fun camp activities. Those who successfully complete the trainings will have the opportunity to return for another week during the summer to be a junior counselor.

In order to participate in this program you must go through an application process. If you are 16 or older you will also be asked to complete Safe Gatherings training before you return for your week of junior counseling. In order to apply, please email rsiver@greatplainsumc.org.
