Trent Meyer (a.k.a. Superman) - Camp Manager
Trent Meyer began his time as manager of Camp Fontanelle in June of 2004. Trent was raised on a farm 1 mile north of Snyder, NE with 4 brothers and 2 sisters. He graduated from Scribner-Snyder H.S. in 1990. Midland Lutheran College became his home as he earned his degree in secondary education and biology. Trent also participated in the long jump and javelin for 4 years while at Midland. During the summer of 1993 Trent worked as counselor/maintenance personnel at Camp Carol Joy Holling.

Trent began his teaching profession at Ashland-Greenwood as the physical science department. He then moved on to teach at Fremont High School in 1998. On September 5, 1998, Trent wed Shelly Reuss of Neligh. Trent and Shelly have 3 children, Hannah, Josiah, and Makenna who joined the family on January 1, 2007. The Meyers are very excited to be part of the program at Camp Fontanelle. Trent attended a summer camp in Kansas for 5 years before graduating from high school and has hosted kids from school to attend camp. He values the experiences to be gained by getting closer to nature and to God through the change of pace and surroundings that camp provides. If the facilities are needed for a reunion or retreat, Trent can be reached for details at 478-4296 or at campfontanelle@huntel.net. If there are any ideas or suggestions regarding desired programs or activities for Camp Fontanelle pleases feel free to contact Trent.

Dinie Jensen
Dinie Jensen joins us at Camp again this summer as our most "experienced" staff member. And what experience she has! Dinie has been on paid staff since 1992, but on top of that she has many decades of volunteer work here at Fontanelle. Dinie organizes and leads crafts for campers, although she claims to not be creative herself. Each and every year campers return to the craft cabin to make some new crazy creations! Dinie also works in the office at camp more hours than anyone will ever know. It's a good bet that when you call or e-mail us with questions or registrations, Dinie will be the person you talk to!

Although Dinie works pretty much year round here at camp, she also has a lot of time to do other things. She currently lives in Fremont and is a Health Aide for Fremont Public Schools. She also is blessed by the youth she works with in Special Olympics as they are also blessed by her work. Dinie is also ready to work with all the youth that are coming this summer and is hoping to affirm their spiritual growth through crafts and through serving on staff in a variety of ways.
