Go out on a limb and try something new!  Celebrate your birthday or any other event in your life with a tree climbing adventure!  Check out our website for details about tree climbing.  Climbs are $15/person/hour.  Have a slumber party in our tree boats and sleep under the stars for an additional $10/person.  ALL climbers must have a release form signed by guardian prior to climbing (available on our website). We are the only church camp in the Midwest to offer this type of tree climbing. Discover an experience about which few can brag. Call or make group reservations online.


NEW IN 2014!  Zip Lines!! Make reservations. Fill out waivers (under "Register For Camp" link on website).  Cost:  $10 for two 350' rides.


Book group outdoor laser tag events.  Call or make group reservations online.  $10/hour/person with 15 person minimum.   We have 30 taggers available for your group to use. 15 taggers are red and 15 taggers are blue. With a range of 600-800 feet outdoors it is easy to tag other players if you can see them. We offer different scenarios to help bring your group together.  Fill out the release form (under "Activities" link on website)



Take some time out to dye your Easter eggs at Camp Fontanelle (Bring your own boiled eggs. Feel free to
bring your own decorations for eggs. We will have some dye and crayons for decorating). Other activities
include hiking and games on the campgrounds, Easter egg hunts by age group, and Easter egg climbing.
That’s right, you’ve got to climb the tree to get these eggs in your basket. The Zipline Egg Drop will zip you
down and back across 700’ of total cable. The challenge will be to drop an egg in a certain area to win a
prize (fee & waiver for this event).

*All tree climbers & zipline riders will need release forms signed before participating. Minors need
signatures of guardians. Forms are available on the website under ‘Activities’ link.

Help tidy up the campgrounds and buildings for Summer Camp. Lunch provided to workers. Variety of

Our barn area offers a great place to watch some popular movies on our 12’ screen hung from the trees!
At dusk, a movie will be projected using our LCD projector. Bring the family or grandkids for an outdoor
movie experience! Feel free to arrive early and cook your supper over one of our 5 fire rings before the
movie starts. Keep the fire going and make s’mores during the movie! Our website also lists start times for
the various nights. Bring a lawn chair and/or blanket and enjoy the outdoors at a “sit – in” movie. No movie will be shown if the weather is inclement.

Camp Fontanelle is hosting a multi-district event, which is a chance for church middle and high school
youth directors to meet other directors and use the event as a kick off for the 2017/2018 youth group
activities. Get out to camp and spend time with your youth and meet other youth groups.

Youth from across the area will meet other youth while zipping across a ravine or playing laser tag or Gaga
Ball. It will be a time for worship and great food provided by the camp. Youth Directors register for the
whole group. Deadline is Monday August 14. Poster and registration materials can be found at under 'Events’ link. Cost is $20/person for the day and includes all activities and
food. Activity Release Form with parent signature required for activities.

Family fun for all! Opening of the 11th Annual Corn Maze. 11 a.m. worship. Meal will be served following
worship service until 3pm. Silent auction ends at 2 pm when Quilt auction begins, hayrack rides, pumpkins,
live entertainment, petting barn, inflatable bouncer, jumping pillow, tree climbing, zipline rides, and much
more! Donations always graciously accepted as this is our major fundraising event for the year, bring your
checkbooks! Open to the public. No reservations required. Help support your camp.

GaGa Ball quickly became a summer favorite at Camp Fontanelle. We have taken this game played by
individuals and turned it into a team game. Get your team together and sign up for the tournament this
year and claim your trophy! The registration form must be turned in at least a week before the tournament
and can be found at by clicking on the 'Events’ link.

Find your way in the corn. Our 9 acre corn maze is in its 11th year of operation. You have the option of two
exits. Plan on at least 1 hour in the maze, then stay a little longer and walk over to the petting barn to meet
our animal friends, visit Fort Jones and the Mineshaft, bounce in the bouncer or jump on the jumping pillow,
play in the sand or play lawn games or Laser tag (check website for details). Campfires, concessions and
weekday group events available! $1 off coupons are available online. Pumpkins are available by free will
donation. Ride the ziplines! Concessions are available during regular weekend hours. Check website

the week. Open to the public.

Do you dare solve a corn maze . . . . at night?  There is no easy way out when you are lost in the corn.  Experience the heart racing thrills of a 9 acre corn maze while trying to elude the living and the dead (40 mannequins) spooks in the maze.  You'll LOVE our scary maze.  This may be too scary for young children or the faint of heart.  There is a dark only maze (no spooks or surprises though still noises) for the younger crowd.  Beginning at 6:45 by our petting barn, a FREE movie will be shown to tease your mind before entering the corn maze.  Call or email for the movie title.  Concessions are available.

Churches and organizations are invited to pass out goodies and share information about their church or organization to those who find them. Bring the kids out and see how many people and treats they can find in the corn maze. Dress in costume (not required). Enjoy all the activities of the regular corn maze plus more!  Open to the Public.  Bring a toy valued $5 or more for Toys for Tots and get one free admission.  Maze open from 1 pm to 7 pm.

Join the fun run/walk in costume. This 5k race will take you to areas of Camp Fontanelle not many have seen. We'll have you running across the creek, up and down the cliffs, over fallen trees and other surprises.  A tamer 1.25 mile walk will also be available. Medals will be awarded to the top 3 in each age division (male and female) in the 5k race, medals for all racers/walkers 14 and under. Spaghetti meal following the race.  Fee includes race, meal, pass to maze, possible medal, and shirt. Download registration online or register online.

We have sledding.  Tubes are best and available for you to use. Hillside can be lit for night sledding. Please call in advance.  Free will donation.

***Camp Fontanelle has facilities available for weddings, reunions, youth or adult retreats, or any type of gathering you might be planning.  Overnights and meals are available.  Call for details, prices, and availability.  We have treeboats too!
